We love things that are equalized. But that's just only a feeling or even just an opinion. Nature doesn't know anything about that one-thing-like-the-other it seems.
For example, divide a picture of your face into the left and right side, copy one this and mirror the copy together with the origin. If one does so, one will face a picture of another. It will appear to you as looking wrong, a kind of deformation.

Maybe the last picture in the row appears to myself more natural because it's my day to day face that I have to look at in the mirror. But the versions above, both the left-mirrored as well as the right-mirrored appearing to be unnatural. They're too equal, too smooth. Here one's missing this kind of special, we're looking for in every face we look at. Maybe that happens unconsciousness but that's what we do.
If you take a look at the surface only, things will appear symmetric to you for sure: there are two ears, eyes, nostrils for example. If you compare two of these things in detail you will find out that there are not the same. They are not congruent. That's the way nature is working: There are no things like an absolute concordance. Everything that was ever created is particular, is something special.
