Hidden Gem: A Vietnamese Restaurant Worth Discovering
Tucked away in a quiet corner of Lisbon, Portugal, is a Vietnamese restaurant that is sure to impress even the most discerning foodie. TRE BAMBU is a charming eatery with warm and inviting décor, friendly and attentive staff, and a menu that is packed with authentic Vietnamese dishes.
On a recent visit, I had the pleasure of sampling some of TRE BAMBU's most delicious dishes. I started with a cold Saigon beer, the perfect way to quench my thirst and get me in the mood for my meal. Next, I enjoyed a bowl of Wonton Soup, which was made with a flavorful broth, delicate dumplings, and a variety of fresh vegetables.
For my main course, I ordered the Glass Noodles with Shrimps which came along with Bamboo Sprouts. The glass noodles were perfectly cooked and had a nice chewy texture, while the shrimp were plump and juicy. The bamboo sprouts added a touch of crunch and freshness to the dish. Also there was a little pot with Spicy Vinegar. This was a bit of a surprise, as it was much spicier than I expected. However, the heat was perfectly balanced by the acidity of the vinegar.
For dessert, I had the homemade Cocos Ice Cream. This ice cream was rich and creamy, with a pronounced coconut flavor. It was the perfect way to end a delicious meal.
Overall, I had an excellent experience at TRE BAMBU. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I will definitely be returning to try more of their menu.
My choices all together:
Wonton Soup
Glass Noodles with Shrimps and Bamboo Sprouts flavored by Spicy Vinegar
Cocos Ice Cream
Tips:
* If you're not sure what to order, ask the staff for recommendations.
* Be prepared to try new things. Vietnamese cuisine is full of unique and flavorful dishes.
I hope you enjoy your visit to TRE BAMBU as much as I did!
